Introduction
As of 1 January 2012, Bender von Haller Dragsted (BvHD) has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the international law firm Bird & Bird LLP.

The agreement enhances the cooperation shared by Bird & Bird and BvHD for several years and anticipates close cooperation in the targeting and pursuit of existing and potential clients of the two firms. It is also expected that there will be closer integration of the two firms’ processes and systems for work delivery, know how capture and dissemination and invoicing.

What’s in it for the clients?
This strategic cooperation will provide BvHD’s clients access to legal services at the highest professional standard, across a large number of jurisdictions.

The cooperation agreement expands BvHD’s unique offerings to Danish clients to include:

•    Advice on all aspects of intellectual property rights in all significant international markets.

•    Handling of multi-jurisdiction outsourcing matters.

•    Handling of multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions.

•    Cross-country legal compliance surveys, e.g. within data protection law, copyright law, competition law, e-procurement law and employment law.

•    Business incorporation as well as general company law assistance in Denmark and across a large number of other jurisdictions.

BvHD will provide these services as a seamless, coordinated service, where BvHD will be acting as the client’s single point of contact depending of course on client preferences.

Equally, Bird & Bird’s clients will be enjoying the benefits of Bird & Bird now being able to offer their clients top quality legal advice in Denmark in substantially the same seamless way as in other countries where Bird & Bird has offices.
