BvHD becomes a part of Bird & Bird and takes in two new partners!
BvHD and the international law firm Bird & Bird will merge as of 1 May 2013. The merger is the culmination of a close cooperation through a number of years. The merger will lead to Denmark having a new – and in reality the only – law firm which covers Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
BvHD has experienced a heavy demand for highly specialised legal advice also of an international nature. At the same time, it is crucial that the legal advice is based on a solid, commercial understanding and especially an in-depth knowledge of a trade. In this connection, BvHD sees Bird & Bird as a perfect match as Bird & Bird, just as BvHD, has a highly professional level of specialisation and a strong focus on especially the IT, telecom and media industry.
As part of the merger with Bird & Bird, we have strengthened our corporate team by taking in two new partners. Christian Scherfig took up a position as partner in BvHD at the end of 2012 and as of 1 April 2013 Ulrik Laustsen will take up a position as partner. Christian and Ulrik will together manage and strengthen our corporate team.
